DR. FIONA CALLENDER, ND
Dr. Fiona is passionate about supporting and empowering women through each stage of life. She believes that healthcare should be a collaborative process and embraces finding sustainability and enjoyment in optimizing health. Guided by the understanding that you know your body best, her goal is to support and empower you with the tools to improve your own health. She approaches care through a trauma-informed and compassionate lens, meeting you where you are at on any given day.
Dr. Fiona’s clinical focus is on supporting hormonal health, especially as it pertains to fertility goals, menstrual cycle irregularities and symptoms, pregnancy and postpartum, endometriosis and chronic pain conditions. Optimizing digestion and skin health are also a large part of her practice.
Largely sparked by the needs of her patients with endometriosis and pelvic pain, she has completed additional training in pelvic floor therapy, including courses specific to urinary symptoms, pelvic pain, pregnancy care and running-specific pelvic floor concerns.
Dr. Fiona completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto, where she also competed in track and field at the national level. She then completed four years at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and became certified as a Sports Nutritionist (CISSN). When she’s not in the clinic Fiona can be found running by the lake, cycling to bakeries, or exploring the little pockets of nature Toronto has to offer.
