Lymphatic drainage massage

Lymphatic drainage is gentle, slow, repetitive and rhythmic technique that mimics the action of your body’s lymph system and helps to reduce swelling and pain. The technique involves stretching and massaging the skin in order to promote movement of lymph fluid. Our lymph fluid carries toxins, bacteria and dead cells that need to be eliminated from our body. When our lymphatic system becomes stagnant, our body may benefit from a lymphatic massage to help with movement of fluid and to reduce swelling. The intent of this massage is to reduce swelling, bloating, inflammation, puffiness and pain. This form of manual therapy can be performed on the full body as well as the face and neck.

A facial lymphatic treatment is both functional and cosmetic, enhancing your natural facial contours, reducing puffiness and leaving you with a healthy glow. Skin topicals and serums are incorporated into each treatment and have been curated in collaboration between our naturopathic doctors and aesthetics educator.

Results are often visible in just one session.

Note: for insurance purposes, this service is not performed by a Registered Massage Therapist unless you are booking a Buccal Facial Massage and Lymphatic Drainage with Lindsay Dynes.
